referred to in these Terms as the Organizer,
we, us, or our.
Montessori eshop s.r.o. is not the organizer of the Congress and is not a party
to the ticket contract. It may only use Event Media where a Participant has
separately granted the Optional Media Release described in Section 12.
These Terms apply to every person who registers for, purchases, receives,
transfers, or uses a ticket for the Prague Montessori Congress 2027
(the Kongres).
By completing registration, purchasing a ticket, accepting a transferred ticket,
or attending the Congress, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms.
2. Congress details
The Congress takes place from April 23 to 25, 2027 at Kongresové centrum Olšanka,
Táboritská 23, Prague, Czech Republic.
The Congress is an in-person event. Its main language is English.
Selected sessions may include Czech interpretation.
The current Congress program, speakers, ticket options, venue details,
and practical information are published on the Congress Website.
3. Registration and contract
Registration is available through the official registration process on the
Congress Website or through a group registration arranged directly with the Organizer.
Your registration becomes binding when we confirm it by email and receive full payment,
unless we have agreed otherwise with you in writing.
You are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and current registration,
contact, and billing details. We are not responsible for difficulties caused by
inaccurate or incomplete information submitted during registration.
If you register a group, you confirm that you have authority to register the listed
Participants and to provide their registration information to the Organizer.
4. Tickets, prices, payment and invoices
Ticket prices, ticket categories, payment options, and applicable taxes are shown
during registration. The applicable price is the price displayed when registration is completed.
Ticket prices may increase as the Congress approaches. A change in price will not
affect a ticket that has already been purchased and paid for.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, discounts and promotional offers cannot be combined.
An invoice will be issued using the billing information submitted during registration.
Please review it promptly and contact
invoices@amiprague.cz
if correction is needed.
We may cancel an unpaid registration if payment is not received within the payment
period stated during registration or otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Group registrations
Groups of three or more Participants are eligible for a 10% discount on each ticket
in the group. Where the current group offer applies, five paid registrations may
qualify for one complimentary sixth ticket.
Group registrations must be arranged directly with the Organizer. Please contact
courses@amiprague.cz.
If a group booking is canceled, reduced, or changed and the remaining number of
Participants no longer qualifies for the relevant discount or complimentary ticket,
we may recalculate the booking before processing any refund.
6. Ticket use and transfers
Tickets are personal and may not be resold, auctioned, used for commercial promotion,
or offered through unauthorized third-party channels.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person before
the Congress. To arrange a transfer, email
courses@amiprague.cz
with the full name and email address of the replacement Participant.
We may refuse entry, cancel a ticket, or request additional verification where we
reasonably believe that a ticket has been obtained fraudulently, misused, resold
without authorization, or remains unpaid.
Participants may be asked to show their registration confirmation or proof of identity
when collecting their Congress badge.
7. Cancellations and refunds
All cancellation requests must be sent in writing to
courses@amiprague.cz.
A cancellation request becomes effective when received by the Organizer.
Cancellation policy for Prague Montessori Congress 2027:
Full refund for cancellations received on or before February 22, 2027.
50% refund for cancellations received from February 23 through March 24, 2027.
No refund for cancellations received on or after March 25, 2027.
You may transfer your ticket to another Participant instead of canceling it,
in accordance with Section 6 of these Terms.
No refund is due where you are unable to attend because of illness, travel disruption,
visa refusal, delayed travel documents, personal circumstances, or another reason
outside the Organizer's reasonable control.
Tickets for the Congress relate to a leisure activity taking place on specific dates.
Where applicable law permits, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply.
8. Congress changes and force majeure
We will make every reasonable effort to deliver the Congress as advertised.
However, we may make reasonable changes to the program, speakers, timetable,
session format, venue rooms, interpretation arrangements, technical format,
or other operational details where necessary.
A speaker cancellation, speaker replacement, timetable adjustment, change to an
individual session, or change to interpretation arrangements does not by itself
create a right to a refund, provided that the Congress remains substantially delivered.
If the Congress is postponed, your ticket will remain valid for the replacement date.
We will inform registered Participants about available options if they cannot attend
on the replacement date.
If we cancel the Congress without offering a replacement date or substantially
equivalent alternative, you will receive a refund of the ticket price paid to us.
We are not responsible for failure to deliver the Congress as planned where this is
caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters,
public health emergencies, war, terrorism, strikes, government restrictions,
severe weather, venue unavailability, or failure of essential infrastructure.
9. Travel, visas and accommodation
You are responsible for arranging and paying for your own travel, accommodation,
travel insurance, health insurance, visas, and any other arrangements required
to attend the Congress.
We may provide a registration confirmation or invitation letter for visa purposes
after successful registration and payment. This does not guarantee that a visa or
travel authorization will be granted.
We are not responsible for your inability to attend because of visa refusal,
delayed travel documents, travel disruption, illness, accommodation availability,
or other personal circumstances.
10. Participant conduct and safety
Participants are expected to behave respectfully, professionally, and safely
throughout the Congress.
Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, violence, disruptive behavior,
damage to property, or conduct that compromises the safety, dignity,
or experience of others will not be tolerated.
You must follow reasonable instructions from the Organizer, venue staff,
security staff, technical staff, and emergency services.
We may refuse entry to, or remove from, the Congress any person whose conduct is
unsafe, unlawful, seriously disruptive, or in breach of these Terms. In such
circumstances, no refund will be due.
11. Photography, filming and Event Media
The Congress is a documented event. Photography, filming, audio recording,
and other media production may take place during public Congress sessions,
networking activities, workshops, and other Congress-related activities.
For the purposes of these Terms, Event Media means photographs,
videos, audio recordings, livestreams, testimonials, interviews, written feedback,
and other visual or audio materials created during or in connection with the Congress.
The Organizer will take reasonable steps to inform Participants about media activity
at the Congress and to respect the choices of Participants who do not grant the
Optional Media Release described in Section 12.
Important: accepting these Terms does not itself grant consent
for close-up photography, interviews, named testimonials, or identifiable use in
advertising. That permission is requested separately through the Optional Media Release.
12. Optional Media Release
Participation in the Congress is not conditional on granting the Optional Media Release.
You may attend even if you do not give this consent.
If you voluntarily opt in through the separate Media Release checkbox during
registration, you authorize the following entities to use identifiable Event Media
in which you appear:
-
Montessori Institute Prague s.r.o.,
Pod radnicí 152/3, 150 00 Prague 5, Czech Republic,
Company ID: 25434110.
-
Montessori eshop s.r.o.,
Na sekyrce 1392/2, 160 00 Prague 6, Czech Republic,
Company ID: 07290471.
The Optional Media Release may cover use of your identifiable image, voice,
name, job title, approved testimonial, or other agreed contribution for:
- documentation and reporting on the Prague Montessori Congress 2027;
- future editions of the Prague Montessori Congress;
- websites, newsletters, social media, and organic digital communication;
- printed materials, brochures, presentations, publications, and press materials;
- paid advertising, including social media advertising, display advertising, search advertising, and print advertising;
- promotion of Montessori Institute Prague and Montessori eshop products, services, events, courses, and educational activities.
The Optional Media Release is granted worldwide for five years from the end of
the Congress, without payment or other compensation to the Participant.
You may withdraw your Optional Media Release at any time by contacting
courses@amiprague.cz.
Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of use before withdrawal. After receiving
your request, we will stop future use of identifiable Event Media where reasonably possible.
Contractors such as photographers, videographers, editors, technical suppliers,
and advertising agencies may process Event Media on behalf of the Organizer or
Montessori eshop s.r.o. but do not receive an independent right to use it for
their own purposes.
No partner, sponsor, speaker, exhibitor, venue, or other third party receives
an automatic right to use identifiable Event Media of Participants.
13. Participant content and testimonials
If you voluntarily provide feedback, a testimonial, a written contribution,
a photograph, video, audio recording, or other material for publication,
you confirm that you have the right to provide it.
If you separately agree to publication or submit material for promotional use,
you grant Montessori Institute Prague s.r.o. and Montessori eshop s.r.o. a
non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, edit for
length or format, publish, translate, distribute, and promote that material
for the purposes set out in the Optional Media Release.
You retain ownership of your original material, subject to the permission you grant.
14. Intellectual property and recordings
All Congress content, including presentations, slides, recordings, handouts,
visual materials, branding, session formats, program materials, and other
content is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.
Your ticket gives you access to the Congress for your own personal and professional
learning. It does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights to you.
You may take photographs for private and non-commercial use, provided that you do
not disrupt sessions or infringe the privacy of other Participants.
You may not record, livestream, reproduce, distribute, upload, sell, publish,
translate, share, or make available full presentations, workshops, lectures,
slides, handouts, or other Congress content without prior written permission
from the Organizer and the relevant speaker or rights holder.
The Organizer may use speaker presentations, recordings, and related materials
only to the extent permitted by agreements with the relevant speaker or rights holder.
15. Personal data and privacy
15.1 Controller and purpose
Montessori Institute Prague s.r.o. is the controller of personal data processed
for registration, ticket administration, payment, invoicing, Congress communication,
customer support, access management, safety, and legal obligations.
Montessori eshop s.r.o. is an independent controller only where it receives and
uses Event Media under a valid Optional Media Release. It does not automatically
receive Congress registration data, contact lists, or email addresses for its own
marketing purposes.
15.2 Legal bases
We process personal data on the following legal bases:
- performance of the ticket contract and steps requested before entering into that contract;
- compliance with legal obligations, including accounting and tax obligations;
- our legitimate interests in Congress operations, safety, fraud prevention, and defending legal claims;
- your voluntary consent for the Optional Media Release and optional marketing communications.
15.3 Recipients and transfers
We may share relevant personal data with service providers necessary to deliver
the Congress, including registration and payment providers, invoice providers,
venue partners, technical suppliers, email providers, photographers, videographers,
and professional advisers.
If Event Media is used on advertising or social media platforms, those platforms
may process it under their own terms and may transfer data outside the European
Economic Area. We will use appropriate safeguards where required by applicable law.
15.4 Retention
Registration and invoice data will be retained for the period necessary to administer
the Congress and comply with legal and accounting obligations. Event Media used under
the Optional Media Release may be retained and used for five years from the end of
the Congress, unless consent is withdrawn earlier.
15.5 Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access to your personal data,
correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, or object
to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time.
For questions about registration data or Event Media managed by Montessori Institute Prague,
contact courses@amiprague.cz.
For Event Media used by Montessori eshop s.r.o., contact
julie@montessorieshop.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Data Protection Authority,
the Office for Personal Data Protection.
More information is available in the
Montessori Institute Prague Privacy Policy
and the
Montessori eshop Privacy Policy.
16. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded
or limited under applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organizer is not liable for loss of
personal belongings, indirect losses, lost profits, travel disruption,
accommodation costs, visa costs, exchange-rate changes, or other losses arising
from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
You attend the Congress at your own responsibility and should arrange suitable
insurance for travel, health, belongings, and cancellation where needed.
17. Complaints and consumer disputes
If you have a question, concern, or complaint, please contact us first at
courses@amiprague.cz.
If a consumer dispute cannot be resolved directly, a consumer may use the
out-of-court dispute resolution procedure provided by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority.
18. Governing law and final provisions
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. This does not affect
mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply under the law of your country
of residence.
For Participants acting as businesses or organizations, disputes arising from
these Terms will be submitted to the competent courts of the Czech Republic.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable,
the remaining provisions remain valid and enforceable.
We may update these Terms where necessary for legal, operational, safety,
or organizational reasons. Changes will not materially reduce the rights
of Participants who have already purchased a ticket unless required by law
or necessary for the safe delivery of the Congress.
